Theres nothing wrong with the log anyways ~

Download CCLEANER (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION' ~ make sure YAHOO TOOLBAR is unticked on installation)
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Run the CLEANER scan (UNTICK 'cookies')
Then run the REGISTRY scan (Backup the registry when it asks)

    reboot

Download GLARY UTILITIES (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD NOW' ~ UNTICK the ASK toolbar on installation)
    http://www.download.com/Glary-Utilities/3000-2094_4-10508531.html
    Run the ONE CLICK scan

If decoders missing then youve probably installed some other media player (Possibly without realising it) which has mucked up windows

vlc media will have taken over the decoder

dvd decryptors easy to use. Simply insert the dvd and click the big icon bottom left for it to decrypt to C drive (Be left with a 'VIDEO_TS' folder which are dvd vob files)

Handbreak ive never used but its gotta be fairly easy as its mainly designed for macs

Im realy not sure about reversing the procedure to work on windows media player. Ill have to have a think on it (Or someone else might know)

Well i only ever suggest restoring as a last resort and so long as the computers clean. So id suggest a scan with Kaspersky before you try that ~

run a KASPERSKY ONLINE SCAN (click to scan 'MY COMPUTER')
    http://www.kaspersky.co.uk/virusscanner
Please post the complete log it creates
