there should be a blue VGA port on the back of the laptop.
you just need to unplig the vga cable (don't try and force it out as it may be screwed in) and plug it into the vga port on the laptop. to get the image to display on the external screen, you may have to press a combination of keys (FN + F2 for example, FN stands for function).0
