I would buy it quick, we have had a look at the same one today and the dealer told us that citroen will be ending deal by next week and then using the £2000 scrappage as part of new deal, at present you are getting £1400 off price, next week you will only get £1000 off the price, as they are starting new scrappage from then'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

I was told by more than one dealership that they will not sell at that price unless they can supply the car before Thursday as that is when Citroen stop underwriting the deal to the dealerships.
One dealership had already said that I couldn't place a definite order as they had had sold everything they had been allocated and were struggling to get more. I found one dealership with the red one, but it was reserved as we sat there, my current dealership only has the possibility of the electric blue one (which is an additonal £370, but even that they thought had been reserved.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. good luck, i am sure you get one:T They are going like hotcakes, the think i will have to wait 3 weeks for a red one, i will know tommorow! Either way on old scheme or new scheme its a good deal, i can see them running out very quick and the money from the government going quickly, thats why we have been today. As soon as our dealership phones us i am going down with deposit:money:'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

Exactly how this is supposed to help British manufacturing is a mystery to me. I mean the (s)crap scheme, of course.0

Oh well - if you've paid the deposit - too late to say anything now.Genie

The odd thing was were weren't 100% sure when we went out and were still planning on shopping around a bit. However, they let us take a car out on our own for an hour and I was so impressed at how nippy it was and how easy to drive that I want one. I just kept saying 'please promise I'll get one' and the saleswoman said she will do her utmost best to locate one from anywhere for us.
The deposit shows as non refundable on my part, but refundable by the garage if they cannot supply car in time to register it on Thursday.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Well done
You've made a good choice - I've got a Toyota Aygo and love to drive it (the cheap tax and insurance are good as well)
The problem with the 107/c1/aygo is they are selling them as quick as they are being made.

Odd that you are all saying this - makes a mockery of the Scrappage scheme! I was under the impression that new car sales have dropped off a cliff. Maybe all the manufactures should switch all their plants to building small economical cars!0
