Buyer wants delivery to a different address

The initial P & P for the UK was £7 as ebay wouldn't let me charge more but I asked for £20 from the winning bidder and he's paid. What would be the best thing to do in these circumstances?
I blocked overseas bids but this was gotten round by the bidder being registered in the UK.
What would you suggest?
Thanks0 -
This doesn't sound right, there is definitely something wrong. Ebay would pick up the postage from his registered address and paypal would not allow him to add a gift address that required more postage.
Personally I would risk a neg here, explain to the buyer that the auction was for UK only bidders and as he is registered in the UK he needs to add a UK gift address to his paypal account as you can only send it to there. Then I'd refund him and get onto Live help and see if they can suggest a way round this.
I would not be sending a phone to Hungary in these circumstances, it doesn't sound at all right.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Do not send it overseas, end of. You'll not be covered.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
Should I just refund his money?
I'd still lose out on the final value fees and paypal fees though wouldn't I?0 -
If he has relatives in the UK perhaps he could add their address to paypal and they could forward it on to him at his own risk. If not a refund is your only option I'm afraid. This registered in the UK lark sounds like a serious loophole to me.0

Paypal fees are automatically refunded, ebay fees could prove trickier but you run a very serious risk of being nearly £300 poorer so think carefully what you do.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
How do I go about giving a refund?
The money is no longer in my paypal account as I withdrew it but they say it should come to my bank account on the 1st May.
Can I cancel this withdrawal and how do I go about doing so?
Sorry to be a pain in the neck!0 -
Did you phone Live help as suggested?
Also, as you have withdrawn the money to your bank account I do have a slight concern that you have let this get away from you a bit as it could be said that you have now accepted the payment and the associated overseas postage charges.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
