Thanks everyone. Survived the day and no longer have the urge to buy the boots. Infact went round to a friends' place for lunch and had a wonderful time.
As for IN LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, he/she should be taken off for being detrimental. This site is supposed to be helpful, encouraging, supportive and many other positive things. Perhaps YOU ought to get a life and leave the rest of us to share our difficulties and problems. Negative people like you, who don't contribute effectively don't deserve to be allowed on this site.
