The IMEI code is 355009006766432 and it has v5.35 software dated 3/2/05.
I've used the DCT4 calculator to get type 2 version 2 codes, but none of the 7, 5, or 1 codes worked. 2 tries left! Anybody any ideas?

should be able to enter code with orange sim but i find it easier with other n/work sim0 -

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry not into phone tech stuff but can follow simple instructions. The V171 was bought from Tesco and is locked to Tesco I think. What do you mean by direct unlock only and do I have to go somewhere to get it unlocked for the easymobile sim.
