it is a 6230 from the imei check

should be able to enter code with orange sim but i find it easier with other n/work sim

Thanks for the quick response. Sorry not into phone tech stuff but can follow simple instructions. The V171 was bought from Tesco and is locked to Tesco I think. What do you mean by direct unlock only and do I have to go somewhere to get it unlocked for the easymobile sim.

you need to put the 2nd code in as well
