Free Unlock Codes For Nokia phones 3 (for U.K. Networks only)

Hi.
I have a nokia 6230 that is locked to Orange (UK). I have had 3 or 4 attempts to unlock this phone using software from links earlier in this thread. I did this while keeping my sim card in. I don't know if this was the right thing to do. I would be grateful if someone could recommend what code to try. My IMEI is 355040000213220.

2. I also have Nokia 6230i that I would like to unlock. It is with O2 (UK) and the IMEI is 358827006798007

6230i needs a different sim to enter code 6230 can be done with any sim
the 02 phone may already be unlocked as some are

Phone 1 (6230) came up with a message saying "can not undo restriction". Do I now need someone else with a cable to help?

all remote code tries have been used so cable/hardware unlock only now
