Would be nice to get the code to get it free for the networks in the country where I am going to study abroad :-)

I new to this so appologies if i'm not observing posting protocol etc.
(Sorry title of post should be - 6230i for model of Nokia)
I have spent about 2 hours on this site & the two free Unlock Nokia sites trying to get an unlock code - my problem is that neither site seems to list the 6230i as an exact model (don't know if this matters - but don't want to waste tries finding out!)
Could anybody out there help?
I have Nokia 6230i IMEI no. is 356644000297726 currently on vodaphone contract and I wish to unlock to say O2

I have found vodaphone code is 23415 as provider but the rest has lost me!
Any help appriciated!

you need to put a sim card from another network in the phone, turn it on , then enter the code when asked for a restriction code
