  • Welcome Mrs Have No Money, nice to have you joining in with us

Ruby, You did well to get £13, and I’m sure you will be able to keep saving from now on. Did you spend the £13 then?

Purple Cat you’ve done really well to have £71! That’s brilliant! How are you?

Lesley, are you ok? You've been very quiet lately, but then again, we all have!

I will post the winner tomorrow in case anyone else posts their amount. I need to go and count mine too, I sold another phone case today and was paid in cash, that will go in my pot! Yay! I'm going to use the money in my pot for spending money when we go away in April so I'm glad it's building up

  • Hi rosepink no I didn't spend it, but I did bank it so it went on direct debits, I guess it will help reduce something. well done purple cat.

Just emptied out my piggy bank and counted up the loose change... £8.39 :j

Not bad considering I only save coppers and 5p's but lower than I had hoped... maybe I'll start putting in higher coins too!

Just counted up and I've got £33 in my pot plus a £22 IOU! Yay! Surprised it's so much to be honest! Will add mine and Emsikins totals to the first page and then award the winner.

Cat, glad you are ok, wow a new sofa, I would kill to get a new one and space to have it! We live in a studio flat and have no space, so we have a very small upright sofa which is not designed for lounging about on! Have to sit bolt upright on it!

sitting upright, or th eability too is what led to the need for a new sofa, old sofa cushions had died and whitney had scratched it to pieces, sitting on it was causing me to have very bad posture whihc according to physio is what has been causing the issues im having with hands for the last 6mths. and now ive been sitting more properly iyswim for a week i can see she is right, pain has mostly gone, aside fomr my back now hurts ......new one is only a small 2 seater. i did have a massive 2 and massive 3 seater, but they were bought 7 years ago for a massive living room in a flat and really didnt fit in this small living room at all, i have what feels like heaps of space now. already planned how to fill it though and thus free up space in kitchen and spare bedroom. id really love to start again with an empty house and have the money to fill it with what i want ..i can dream right?

    well done on the ammounts.

i save absolutely every coin, then raid if/when i run out of notes or money in bank to take notes out. shall be raiding a fair bit this month now i expect.
