 Ruby, that's terrible, did someone steal it? I'm so cross on your behalf!! Hope you are ok

I've spent most of a fiver, and went to get the change out of my purse and I've got £4.60 in there! How did that happen? Must have forgotten I had some in there already. I've got a purse without a section for cards, so all my cards go in the coin bit, and so I can't always see how much change is in there.

I hope everyone is ok this week. We've had quite a few newbies lately, so it would be good to welcome them, and answer their questions if you see they've asked one before I get back on here.

Spring is here, so hopefully the winter blues will disperse for us all! :j

 Hi Rosepink, in short the answer is yes:mad: but still need to find the culprit, I know it's one of the kids but which one? But I had a plan, needless to say lost another £ this week  Taken. what makes it worse is that who ever it is has left me extremerly hurt and dissapointed.

maybe your coins are being naughty when the lights go out:rotfl:

    Hi.

Can i join this challenge please.
i just counted my loose change jar and i have £12.54.
  • Hiya,

Would love to join this group if possible - I owe my HSBC overdraft over 400 pounds so thought at the end of each month I'll pay all my loose change into one of their machines to go towards my overdraft. I don't think I'll have the problem - it's the husband and kids raiding the jar I'll have to worry about!

  • Well today I trotted down to HSBC with my loose change jar and paid 10.99 off my overdraft. Baby steps!!

I've asked the kids and OH to put their spare change in the jar too so hopefully next month will be better.

hi, welcome aboard both of you and good luck :)

ive paid £25 in this month, not been using cash as been using my card for even the smallest purchases so i get a receipt for the visa comp each time. im surprised at how much ive missed adding to my loose change though.
  • I'm afraid to say I've been MIA for a little while - sorry!

Went to HSBC yesterday with OH and we paid in £167, so does that make up for my absence? Please?
