  • This week's started off well - the till I bought my lunch from in boots had no five pound notes so I got my change in change (how silly does that sound!). So... £4.85 in the pot today! I also put in 45p over the weekend.

I'm not setting myself a target for this week - I'll set one at the start of next month.

well done on adding to your pots :) i love it when i see the number go up. Am so tempted to cash up the money at xmas time. Maybe will just try and save as much as i can until then and bank what i have. xmas is really expensive in our household :D

Hello, sorry I've not been about lately, not had any change or anything. But as I still haven't touched this weeks tenner that will be going in the pot on Sunday if it stays unspent - can't see why I would have to spend it!

I've been reading the Sneaky Ways to Save Pennies thread - have got lots of useful tips off there and hopefully will be able to add some of the money I save to paying off my CC!

Hello everyone, hope you have all had a good weekend. We went to Oxford yesterday and stayed over night - we had one of those Travelodge saver rooms for £19, so that was good. My parents and sister came too, which was nice. I've got £3 of my weekly tenner left so I will put that in the pot - we spent much more than that but I let my dad and DH pay for as much as possible! Bit cheeky I know!

We had a lovely time, it's so nice there and we had lovely food. We went to quite a posh brasserie and had ice cream sundaes! Only saw a tiny bit of the city as we didn't have a lot of time, but it was lovely.

Well done Focus for adding more to your pot, you are doing really well

Hope you are all well, looking forward to hearing how you are all getting on with your pots and if you had a nice weekend xx
