Pet shops like this often have a return policy covering this don't they? Ring them up asap.I expect they may want to know how yo did the transfer though.0

Normally most petshops have a 24 hour guarentee for fish0

Are you sure it's not the aquarium water that is at fault? If I were you I'd take a sample of the water to be tested for ammonia, nitrates, nitrites etc. It seems strange that they were apparently healthy in the store but died a few days later when transferred to your tank.0

As far as i know pets at home have a 5 day guarantee on their fish provided you return the body and piece of paper showing which type of fish you purchased. Am assuming all your other fish are ok and everything dandy in the tank otherwise?Smoke free since 30/01/13 :j0

we bought a few fish from them and they infected all our other fish which resulted in half the tank dying. My OH went up and complained and got an exchange reciept, although we haven't actually went to get the fish cos he told them he'd rather try and sort the fish tank and get it back to normal before putting any other fish in, that was like 5 months ago now........ wonder if we will still be entitled to our fish!!! totally forgot all about it. (bit fed up of my fish tank, too much algae and can't seem to control it)0

Pets @ Home were happy for us to get 2 replacement Guppies when the first two died after about 10 days
The local Indy on the other hand was an arrogant **** with a similar issue 6 months previously0 -
I always quarantine new fish for a few weeks before adding to my established tank. Doesnt have to cost a fortune - I got a small 25ltr tank off freecycle and added a cheap heater and filter.0
