Help! Want to move from Freeparking.co.uk

There was a note placed on their pop.freeparking.co.uk and their webmail page site which stated that they were migrating their servers and that there would be problems with mail over this period. They have upgraded their webmail now to mailenable and were also having speed issues with that. This now appears to have been resolved.
I have been with Freeparking for a number of years now and always found their servcie excellent. Migrating to new faster servers will benefit is all, but you cannot expect them to do all of this without a little bit of pain to us.0 -
transfer domains to 123reg ,set up domain emails free for yourself, you can even obtain free google email address and redirect your domain emails to it.......all for free ,have used 123 since 1993 no problem and google last 3 years , no problem , example of 1 of mine a@###.co.uk transfers to a###@googlemail .com no problem ALSO 123 DO NOT charge for domain transfers unlike some others....zee0

Freeparking are a total nightmare.
I paid for renewals and they took two amounts, back in August. I submitted several support requests and they are just ignored or "Held Over". They are a bunch of con-men.
The bank is going to return the monies to me and charge it back to them under the visa scheme.
I have around 30 domain names with these, some days we cannot get our emails at all or they are very slow. Some domains cannot access the emails at all. They keep blaming it on upgrades etc, to the point they dont even reply.
DONT BUY FROM FREEPARKING.CO.UK THEY ARE USELESS0 -
The only service I use is e-mail forwarding but it's not reliable and I'm now resigned to finding an alternative service.
I used the their tech support people but the issue periodically returns and the tech support resolution is to ask me to delete all my mappings and to re-enter them.
It's happened once too often so I'm off.
Don't be tempted to sign-up with freeparking.co.uk - you'll regret it.0 -
After being with freeparking.co.uk for nearly ten years without a problem, my email forwarding stopped working last week. I then noticed that my web forwarding had also stopped working. Fired a couple of support requests off via their website and still haven't had any response (yet).
As I own a .dom domain, I can't even transfer to google apps as I need them to authorise it.
Has anyone ever got a response (positive or negative) from them and how long did it have them to acknowledge your support requests?0 -

UPDATE: Freeparking have started responding... by simply closing my support requests without reading them!
I'm now getting some emails being forwarded but this is patchy at best. web forwarding still not working and they have conflicting instructions on their website for transfering out.
Finally, does anybody know what timezone the support team work in? I'm in NZ (GMT +13).0 -
I bought a domain with FreeParking a couple of months ago - tempted by the unlimited email addresses and price I was looking forward to having my own domain name + unlimited@mydomain.com.
Now very much regret having pre-purchased 10 years service. Their mailservers are a nightmare and the 10MB limit per inbox simply isn't enough - and even if you're below the limit it still struggles to complete the most basic of tasks.
Looks like I will have to give up that domain (don't fancy wrestling with them to transfer the domain) and start all over again!
My advice would be to avoid this company.
Any recomendations (other than those previously mentioned) gratefully received.

My company has been using freeparking for years and it has become so painful to use we are moving everything to 123 Reg. We have good relationships with our peer IT support companies and that seemed the most used by far and no criticism about them offered.
Freeparking offers a lot for free but I guess the adage that you get what you pay for appliesNick Hampson0
