Yes but you'd need to use bank transfers/cheques as payments.
Are there any reasons for not using paypal? Its not that bad and although you get charged it is less hassle.
You mean ask the buyer for a cheque or postal order?
Yes theres a big reason for no pay pal, last time i had a paypal account they only allowed me a couple of hundred quid to withdraw from sales, and said if i wanted to higher my withdraw limit i would need a credit card, which i can't get at the minute, so paypal put my account on hold (no withdrawals but i could buy) this lasted 8 months and i got so sick of them i cancelled my account and don't want any paypal troubles again, they were more hassle than they are worth.
Thanks i will try eBay again for selling stuff on the postal orders and cheques.

Sorry but the previous answer was incorrect. You can no longer sell on ebay without a linked paypal account as paypal is required to be offered on all listings. In some categories it is the only payment method accepted.

Paypal fees Pi$$ me right off, but having said that it is quick and efficient.
I have no problem waiting for a cheque to come in the post and then waiting for it to clear, but the customers always give bad ratings for "speed of delivery" because it can leave them waiting 2 weeks for the item.0 -

As you closed your earlier paypal account there is no restriction in opening another as the bank details should no longer show as being in use elsewhere.
However paypal do limit accounts until such time they get verified and to get verified you do need to register a valid debit or credit card with them and go through the palavar of having a small payment sent to that account and confirming how much you received etc.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I did the 2 small payments with the previous account, still they put it on review after i was up to my limit and demanded credit card details.
I will get another bank account then and go again, cheers. :beer:Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -

Are you sure you can't get a credit card at the moment? Something like the Vanquis card is supposed to be easier to get. The interest rates are very high, but that wouldn't really matter if you are not spending on it.
Or have you tried getting a debit card instead and see if that would work? Some of the basic bank accounts come with a debit card - you might want to take a look at the Basic Bank Accounts thread in these forums http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=3197360 -

Or if they're really insistent on a credit card and you really can't get one then mastercards prepay card fairfx goes through as a mastercard.
Link to get one without set up fee: http://www.matalan.co.uk/pages/news/offers-and-events/fairfxThis is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.
