Hi eveyone,
I upgraded my contract with 3 in Dec 08 only to find that what was agreed verbally is not what I'm getting, I signed up for 300 mix & match minutes for £9 what I'm getting is 100 mix & match minutes for £9. I have had numerous phone calls and letters to 3 in an attempt to remedy the situation but to no avail.
I was speaking to a friend yesterday and he told me that because I hadn't actually signed anything that this contract is worthless.
Has anyone had any similar situations and if so how did you resolve them.
Thanks in advance

Its your word against theirs.
Having been looking at current three deals myself, I have seen the £9 deal which is called Mix and Match - what that allows is 100 anytime any network or texts or a mixture.
In addition it allows "With 300 3 to 3 minutes and free Skype-to-Skype calls" - might you have been lead to believe or confused yourself with the 3 to 3 calls?0 -
No, definately not. I would only take the deal so long as I got the 300 mix and match deal, I was quite specific about this.
Looks like I'll have to go to the Onbudsman then.0 -
I'd ask Three for a copy of the recording of the call.0

I had a very similar problem - was told internet would be included, only to find I was paying an additional £5/month for the privilege.
Called them dozens of time to no success. Wrote them letters - nothing.
Then I read some advice on these forums, and got the following information:
" what you need to do is ring 3's Press Office on ths number: 0845 6038333 tell them the problem, they will email the Executive Office and you sjould get a callback from the Executive Office. i'll also give you the Executive Office 08707 330295. Good luck with it. Honestly that route does work, it worked with myself and my partner, got 2 of our contracts terminated 11 months early."
They took my details, and I was called back within 3 days, and spoke to an Englishman who sorted the problem there and then.
Good luck.0 -
Maybe you should not have gone with three? Harsh - but true. I learned the to steer clear of them despite their good deals.0
