evening peeps
Some good news at last - Evie has gained some weight (60grams!!) and I'm just so stoked about it. We've been doing loads of skin-to-skin contact and one-demand breastfeeding and we're down to one formula top up feed each day and I'm hoping that we can stop that in the next fortnight!
In other, really freaky, news... for some strange reason I decided to weigh myself 4 days after Evie was born and was a bit  at how much I weighed and a bit  at how much I really need to lose (70lb). Anyway, I've weighed myself again today and I'm already down 15lb. Now I know that's a little high in two weeks when you're not dieting so I phoned the midwife and she said it can be perfectly natural (especially as my hands, arms, ankles and feet had been so swollen I'd had to buy shoes a size larger than normal and now I'm back in my usual shoes). So I have a weight loss goal of 55lb and I'm still not starting the diet until Evie is 6 weeks old!
Was going to try to stay online for a while but Evie is complaining again so I'll give her another feed.
love and hugs to all
