Plastic storage boxes - where can I get them cheap?

Hi all
I'm figuring that instead of buying cardboard boxes, I may as well buy the plastic boxes with lids when we move house in a few weeks' time (not the under-bed ones, the taller ones - think they're 50 litres).
However, where can I get these as cheaply as poss? I've looked in Wilko and they're about a fiver each - anyone found them cheaper elsewhere?
Or, indeed, would anyone advise against using them? I'm only transporting a few books, bedlinen, crockery, cleaning materials etc.
TIA
Suze

you can hire them, probably cheaper that buying them (and what will you do with all these boxes after the move if you've bought them?)."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Wht not get cardboard boxes for free from a local shop. Also if you fill a 50ltr box full of books you then have to lift and carry it.0
