Auto trader is great for selling cars i used them for my bikes and was well pleased.Owed out = lots. :cool:0 -
be very honest with your description, if i turned up and it wasnt as described even though i won the auction i would still walk.0

I have bought and sold cars and motorcycles on eBay with good results.
Recently though I have used Autotrader website, Gumtree, local freead sheets, cards in local shops and parking on a busy road with a 'for sale' sign.
This is cheaper than eBay and more effective in getting potiential buyers actually looking at your car.
I only take cash because drafts are easy to forge. I always make out a bill of sale which states that car is sold as seen and that the buyer has inspected the car and is satisfied with it's condition. I'm honest and don't try to conceal any faults but I don't want to deal with any problems that may arise later.0 -

some good advice there
I have only used Ebay once and found the listing and end of auction gobbled a lot up.
Auto Trader if fine for the higher priced cars and you only pay once. I also have used http://www.adtrader.co.uk/
their adds are slightly cheaper and sometimes can be free0
