probably if it happens; but somebody saying they heard it happens, is just a wild accusation0

All gambling systems win... as long as you are the bookie or casino. they work on long term expected values and as such it is irrelevant to them who wins and who loses as they win over the course of the day/month/year etc.
If people understood this then they would simply stop gambling however there is always the 'it could be me, I could be the big winner!' to drive them on.
Saying that I just spent $2 on lottery tickets and that is pretty much a guaranteed loser.

I went on this site yesterday for the first time and won 3 cordless panasonic phones for £0.43p, they have a RRP of £70.00. I used free credits to bid and payed the £0.77p admin fee.
I have now deleted my account and will not return after making a cool profit :-)
Just to confirm this is a lie.
How do I know? The admin fee is a minimum £4.99 on Madbid last time I looked, to cover post, package etc.
Ergo this is a false statement, a lie.0 -
been looking on madbid recently. I dont play but like to look.
Currently there is a car 'auction'. the price is up to £3,116.17
I did some sums... 311617 (a bid pushed it up by a penny) bids at 8 bids a go is 2,493,432 bids in total used! Now multiply that by the best price of 10p = £249,343.20 spent on this car by the bidders.
Two bidders have been going since at least £2,500.00 which means they have both bid at least to the value of £24k roughly give or take a few thousand
Anyway, this is ridiculous. both have probably spent so much that also buying the car on top will mean they have spent more unless i am missing something.
This is a site to beware of in my opinon because once you pop you cant stop!0 -
Tbh, the only person who benefits is the person who invented it!0

lol !!! i STILL dont understand it , will stick to ebay i think.0

You can win a car for only £3000, but it may cost you £20,000 to buy those bids.
Not such a bargain after all...
A tax on the stupid sums it up well.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
(Yet another new person logging in to say about madbid ;P)
But really...
This site is good for the lower cost items... IF you are able to stop yourself getting carried away.
EG:
I just bought 75 tokens for £8 and got them doubled for free. That works out at around 5p per token.
I bought 3 low value items as gifts (verified their prices in a few places before bidding on them)
£12 headphones - X2 tokens
£10 microwave cuddly toy X2 tokens
£19 bottle of perfume X3 tokens
total: £41 (assuming i wouldnt pay P&P on them elsewhere)
Got all for 1p plus £4.99 shipping on each.
Total cost: £15 plus 7 tokens spent
This has more than covered the cost of my tokens, so even if i now waste all 143 of them, ive still saved.
Im happy to use the site for little gifts as i'm not silly enough to get sucked into a high value auction.
tl;dr
Only worth it if you have a LOT of self restraint!0 -

Just because someone is new here does not mean you should disregard anything they have to say.. It will do nothing other than drive people away :undecided0
