Where to start?
I joined the their OVP tariff (Virgin) a few years back. I phoned up to join a free WAP trial a for three months. Just before it ended I phoned their customer services dept to cancel the trial, everything went through ok...apparently. Received my itemised bill and they had been charging me during my 'free' trial to the tune of £60. Rang up and after much hassle got a refund, but only as a credit to my account, not a cash refund. :mad:
1 yr later, not having learnt my lesson, I signed up for another free trial and before it ended I cancelled. Once again got billed £35 but got a credit after chasing customer services. :mad:
Last month I got locked out of my online account. Not sure why though? Phoned 'customer services' which has outsourced to India :T and the guy had no clue on how to deal with my query and could not understand English. Eventually I was told to email Orange, which I did, and apparently my account has now been 'fixed'. Tried to log in this morning but I get a messaging saying that my account can not be registered online. On the second attempt it said I should call technical services at 50p per minute :mad:
Anyway, I'll be calling them again from work on Monday (no call charges for me
) and if they don't get it sorted I'm off to another service provider.
