could be worse just returned from a trip to paris where on stopping in a service station for the kids to go to the loo was conned by my 2 and 3 yr old into paying £3 for two kinder eggs that cost an average of 60p here lol

My OH and i went to Bruges in April and although it wasnt on the menu we had 2 glasses of fresh orange juice - £12 I nearly fell off my chair.:eek:

and dont get me started about Dublin.;)

I have a very simple rule, I NEVER buy anything at a petrol station or motorway services unless it has a price on it that can't by increased such as newspapers.

No stoke fan I am the sort of honest person who not only doesnt steal, I don't brag. and IMO yes that makes me better than you. I dont break the law and do illegal and distasteful things.

They charge with what they can get away with. If people didn't buy, they wouldn't charge so much. No-one has to stop at services - there is always an alternative even 24hours now with supermarkets.
