I do have to agree with a previous poster - Westmorland Services (Tebay North/South) are fantastic!

Prices a little expensive but food (sandwiches) fantastic, home made! (£2.35)

Drinks only £1.20 (10p more than my Tesco Express)

South Mimms is also quite nice!
  • When I used to stop at the Little Chef I always said I was a Vegetarian (odd eating) kind of person and would order from the extra's list. Toast, Beans, Hash Brown, Egg etc., I always had the cheapest meal of all of my mates. The waiter/waitress never seemed to have a problem with this and I saved loads.

I used to do this at work too when they had the Roast Dinner and ended up having a meat free version for around £1.50, when the meat version was around £3.50 -£4.00.

But I agree with previous posts. Tesco, Morrisons etc, are usually best for breakfast. I used to have a Tesco store map in my car for that purpose. When I was camping with mates we would all troup down to the local Tesco for brekky.
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010

Are people on there (sic) high horses?
    Why do you think that?
Perhaps cos they don't delight in posting about stealing from services?

anyone who is honest reserves the automatic right to judge (and look down from their high horses,) at self confessed thieves. Go do your trolling somewhere else.

i have been a good member of this forum for 3 years, never tryed to upset anyone, i have helped plenty of people, and have been help by loads of people too.

this forum is going downhill very very quickly. everyone used to be helpfull and there was never any !!!!!yness. no it seems on every thread people are there just to hinder.

i have done one thing illegal, probably a lot less than many of you people on here.

i do wish i never said anything yes BUT this all stems from me asking for advice on a subject that had nothing to do with this. if someone asks for advice they dont deserve to be shot down. (not just me, i can turn the other cheek) some people aint strong enough and never return to this forum. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE NOT FEEDING PEOPLES EGO'S

can you point out where it stems from that you asked for advice.
Your first post was telling us in detail how you stole from the service station. You didn't ask for any advice.
This thread is discussing the price of service station food isnt it.
