I phone

I am thinking of taking out a new contract for a 16gb I phone the contract lenghth is 24 months at a cost of £45 for 1200 mins and 500 txts with unlimited internet etc, and i am wondering if I was not using my full allowance of minutes and txts how long would I have to stay on the £45 contract until I could reduce to the next lower contract of £35 which is 600 minutes and 500 txts.
I do like the phone and am currently paying £35 a month on my existing o2 contract which expires next month but rather than get the 8gb free I was wondering if I could get the 16gb and maybe only pay say 2/3 months at £45 then reduce my tariff.
I have heard that i must pay the full price for the first 9 months does anyone knowof any ways around this.

You can already get it for £35 for a 24 month contract with O2.

Of course you have to pay £60 for the 16gb version, but that still works out cheaper! Since you are an existing O2 customer, why not try phoning retentions for a better deal i.e. free iphone for £35 maybe?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0
