I use the internet about 90mins per day maximum. I dont download many files or send large emails etc but I would like to stay unlimited for flexibility. I am currently with Supanet and pay 22.96 per month unlimited. Who is the best provider at the moment bearing in mind cost and quality of service? Do I really need unlimited?
Help me Im cracking up!!!

I have just joined Euro1Net having read about them on the excellent ISP Review site.
Do a search on these forums for other threads regarding Euro1Net.

This is a great offer but it appears that you cant pay monthly and the subs are paid up front. Is that right?0

You really dont need umlimited (or at least the most you need is someone with a unlimited but with a Fair Use Policy).
First, gets yourself a free program to monitor how much you are downloading (Netmeter is one I use, its free, search for it on Google) to get an idea of how much you really need.
I moved from BT Yahoo to Zen Internet for unlimited (I did 250 Gig last month!) but it costs me £30 a month.0 -
I've been with AOL (1mbps) for the last month or 2, and have had no problems at all.
They have an offer where you pay £14.99 for the 1st 6 months (I think), and after that you have to pay £17.99.
However, when I called them up, they offered me £15.99 per month for 12 months, which works out a bit cheaper. Plus it continues at £15.99 after the 1st 12 months, whereas the offer above continues at £17.99.
It's also completely unlimited, if thats important to you.
I know Toucan have a slightly better offer, and I originally chose them, but I had a lot of problems with them before I even got connected, and I found their customer services to be the most unprofessional bunch I've ever come across! (and I've dealt with some bad ones in my time!). Hence I cancelled just in time and went with AOL!
Don't regret my decision for one second, and am very happy with the price.0 -

i would say you would be ok with 2GB usage... since you dont download much, nor spend long online either.... I suggest zazizam's 2mb (soon to be 8mb), 2gb package @ £11.99/£13.99 - i have had no problems at all0
