Barclays Bank charge Debt management Team

Hi, I had been claiming bank charges with Barclays under the Financial Harship route. Fill in a budget planner and they have now sent me a letter stating that it is now been passed to their Consumer Finance Debt Management Team. I wonder if anyone had been in the same situation and what does it mean?

Hi ive had this happened to me, i sent my budget planner back to barclays, they sent me a letter on 14th april saying it's been sent to comsumer finance dept, and they get back to me within the next 14 days, ive phoned them a couple of times since to see if anything has happened but they just said it's being looked at, ive also asked if they are saying i'm in hardship and she saids yes it is being treated as a hardship claim, i said does this mean i am goin get paid she said i could get a partial payout my claim is nearly 5k and would be happy with half of it, and she also said not all people who r in hardship get paid, she said just keep checking my online banking cause they could just pay in it,i should here something next wk, i hope i do get something cause i'm desperate.0

I put a claim into Barclays and they sent me a budget planner which i returned. I called last week as I hadn't heard anything and was told it was probably been dealt with so I called again Wednesday and was told they were posting a cheque out that day for £1800. :jNot the full amount my claim was for £3250 but its going to g along way towards paying my debts. I'm hoping it has come in the post today. I sent the budget planner back on 6th April.0

I sent my budget planner on April the 16th. Got a response on the 20th saying they had received my budget planner. Got another letter on the 21st saying my claim is being dealt with by their consumer finance debt department. And just received a phone call from Barclays saying they will have an answer on monday for me. I used the Leicester address. Has anyone else used that address? as reponse seems to be very quick.0

Just spoke to barclays again(been calling every other day) and the customer service lady said i am going to get a payment and a letter this week but don't know how much it is but defo gettin something, i'm really excited,, i asked if i was receiving a chegue or into my account and she said a payment will go into account this wk, so hopefully it will be a good payment.
i'll keep you updated off how much i get..0
