My OH has been driving since september 08, his MOT ran out on March 10th and he didn't realise (thought it was due at the end of march). :rolleyes:
We were stopped by the policy on 11th March because of it.
They were really nice and didn't fine him or put points on his license for being 1 day overdue, he got 7 days to produce a valid MOT certificate (the most stressful week of my life because the car failed twice :eek: ), we got the documents in by the 5th day and everything was fine.:T0
