Mobile phone for cash companies - whats happening

Hi

I have a Siemens A60 mobile phone which is not exactly an old phone and I decided to try and sell it through one of the many companies who advertise on tv.

I tried envirophone and numerous others and no-one would purchase the phone.

Are these companies just a con or has anyone managed to sell a phone through them before.

Looking at the websites it looks like they just want the latest phones to purchase.

Its an old phone no one wants it - 2003 I think. Your best bet ebay - might get a couple of pounds.
And yes the companies do work - I have used two so far.

Sorry its only phones that no one wants?

do they have to work? and do they need to have a charger?

In general a phone has to be recent to make any money for you. It depends on the popularity of the phone and its features - you can tell from their sites beforehand what what if anything they will offer for a particular model.

The phones have to be in working order or the company you sell to can decline your "order" to sell the phone.

You do not need to send in charger - just the phone itself. They test if it works - all ok and you get paid.
