Boooo well it appears the whole company hasnt been paid - and loads of us have gone overdrawn - they obviously set the day wrong - which is terrible because its BACS it will only appear on Monday now into my bank and I have loads of bills and am away in New York and now I just want to cry - I know its my fault for living so close to the breadline but I feel really cheesed off today0

@ becky - If it helps, I'm having trouble with payments as well. I requested a withdrawal of my MB money from Betfair 3 days ago and there's still no sign of it. Which means I'll have to pay the £20 my grandparents gave me into the bank to cover my rent, which is coming out tomorrow, instead of using it to pay the minimum on my Lloyds card. Thankfully, the card payment's not due until the 11th May, so I can pay it next Fri when I get back from the Buddhist place. I know it said 2 to 5 working days for payouts on Betfair but no other payment I've ever requested from anywhere has taken this long.

i do wages for this place (probably much smaller scale) but i bet someone somewhere could cancel the wrong dated payment and set everyone up on a same day payment for today if they needed to... stamp you feet Becky!! I know you live in London so it's less of a big deal re your marathon thing, but even still it's a pretty big mistake for someone to have made... better the company incurs charges for running a same day payment run, than every employee goes overdrawn etc...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I wish I could Maz but our accoutant is on holiday... arghhhhhhhh
Their excuse is we get paid on 25th - but thats not true - I've been paid on the Friday before 25th at least three time before when its been on a weekend/bank holiday so somebody stuffed up big time - everyone is moaning about it though which is quite funny, glad its not just me that lives month to month0 -
Just done my last run before Sunday
Nice easy 2 miles, legs feel great although I am tired and will be getting an early night tonight.
Becky I agree with Maz, I would go to person in charge and say you will be incurring charges and they will have to pay themI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Morning all!
Becky, that's a nightmare, if you get paid on 25th you should get paid ON or BEFORE the 25th not AFTER it! I would definitely be strongly suggesting they will have to pay people's bank chargesGlad that your parents can rescue you so you won't starve though!
Loads of luck to everyone doing the marathon on Sunday - will be thinking about you all :T
I got my new running gear last night - still got the cold and sore throat though so can't use it yet  Feel pretty knackered today so just want to get through work and then sleep.Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Yeah dont worry I will - its not just me - I'm just the worst off of the lot because I dont have a credit card and have SO set to go out on payday...
Its annoying as well because I was going to buy my $s today but now I'll have to get them out there and pay a fee on my card...
Right enough moaning - time to think about the lovely sunny weather0 -
Me today!!!0 -
Oh, if any of you running people are interested, well the ladies that is, TK Maxx have got Shock Absorber sports bras for £6.99. Blimey, they are good, I put mine on and bounced around the house last night and nothing was moving! :rotfl:Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0
