Nicky, Sorry to hear about your problems with Dell. I always found them very good support wise but I had to ring them. If you email them or use the website they can take ages to get back to you. I have had two DVD drives and a RAM chip go and once they got the error message from the diagnostics they sent the part straight out. Its useful to run the diagnostics before ringing as it can take ages when you are on the phone. I think its F12 on my computer but I am not sure if all Dells are the same.Keep thinking positively

It has to be run from CD on that one but yup have done it thanks hun, it ended the message with "back up immediately, hard disk failure" ummm yeah, like how we going to do that then? :rolleyes::rotfl:That ain't working! That's the way to do it, money for nothing and TV's for free0
