just out of interest - do you find the radio comps worth it? as i guess a lot less people enter, but i only like to listen to BBC 6 and they don't seem to have many comps?

if anyone's interested, my photos are going up on facebook (most of you have me by now ) but give it about 10-15 and they'll all be there, got some family ones to go up too
and be nosey - old family photos! see me as a child

Oh Lord what a day! I have spent the entire day researching the fault and trying to fix the Mini 9 laptop I won in December and gave to my daughter, it's her only computer and she hands in her dissitation (yeah I can't spell it) in 3 weeks and her end of placement essay at the end of this week! She is reacting like a badly disappointed child at christmas which is helping no-one and winding me up, she's 26 for god's sake, and there's no need to be rude to everyone. I am about to lose the plot!! It's now established that its a SSD failure (same as hard disk sort of) and terminal until the SSD is replaced and apparantly a very common problem with the Dell Mini9 it seems from my research so avoid at all costs people! I am so upset and disappointed too as it was given to her as her xmas pressie and we were all so thrilled with it :mad::mad:

Right better see what I've missed during the day now then :rolleyes:

sally - I know what you mean about feeling young, I don't know when I'm going to feel grown up! Still don't despite having moved out of my mum's house now and paying bills and stuff...

kab321 - are you on about the phone in competitions on radio? Quite a few people have reported wins on here although I've never entered one where you have to go on air
