For anyone wanting a London screening of Coraline, I've just posted one over on the free cinema tickets thread on the freebies board.

Suppose I should sign off for today now. Off out for dinner tonight with mil, fil, bil and his girlfriend and I should really shower and put something nice on before we go out. I really can't be bothered to be honest, I'd rather stay in and lounge about in my scruffs. Oh well.

Have a lovely evening everyone. See you tomorrow. xx

Thanks, Gerti, I won't be replying. I didn't even look at the thread again after posting as I put it here for the benefit of the board; I have nowhere to store/display art!!

I have just spend the last 20 minutes in absolute fear
I have an insane fear of wasps - I run miles if I see one..
I'd decided, as it was nice, to open my window that little bit more than usual (usually its open enough to let a breeze through but nothing of a mass..)
    what a mistake that was
a MASSIVE wasp (and I'm not just saying that because I hate them- it was bigger than most flies and bigger than any other wasp I've ever dealt with) came in the window
I jumped up from the sofa and in the process tripped over my laptop cable, causing it to fall off the sofa (thankfully ok) and myself to go skidding across the floor. My knee's still bleeding :(
I shut all doors to the room (window open to the kitchen archway thing) and retreat to my room to try and find the bug killer. Nope. None. The OH's still in transit from London so can't just hide. Great.
So I have to face my fear! :(
Creep back in, find it's still obsessed with the net curtain so grab the Yellow Pages and just throw at it. got it in one shot thank GOD. thwak it a few more times to make sure and go to clear up the mess.
in this process, I grab kitchen roll. My hand slips down in it and what do I find? A spider carcus! ICK! so I panic, throw the roll in the bin and go cry in my room... I really can't stand bugs. I know they're smaller than me, I'm scarier than them and everything but.. ICK! and ones that hurt me like wasps :(
so now I'm sat here shaking still, my knee keeps twitching - got a plaster and salvon on it now) and every little sound is making me jump incase more than one came in! :(:(:(

definitely having pizza for tea now, try and calm me :(

    :hello: Everyone,

I notice heart havent put up todays itunes winners ether yet, mailed in to see whats going on and also tried to phone in too but no answer by the DJ :) Bet that was scary Gem seeing the queen wasp.I put out my rubbish and my flat keys fell in the bin too by accident:rotfl: I leant my head over bin to work out how to retrive them from it and I put the lid back but it fell on my head and hurt me *ouch* I am alright though dont worry just a bit in pain with it.I have had a sleep as I was so tired because of the hot weather and feel better, had a bath and washed my hair as my head still hurt.I got the keys out by taking off one of my boots and lifting the key to the side of the bin so I could reach it and take them out.

    love and light,

    Katie xxx
