Yes the 110L has dual SD slots (one for expanding the onboard memory) and the other for camera images etc, both work well. I'm sure a 32GB SD would work, but never seen it on any spec anywhere, 8GB works fine and the reader is HC compatible which is good as I read they never used to be.

Also, In Tesco Irlam (Manchester) They had about 40 Acer Aspire Ones - I cannot remember the model number but it had double what I have (110L) i.e. 1GB RAM, 16GB Memory, but it had XP on instead of Linux. They were priced at £210 I think for any colour but pink, which was £199 - there was no further discoult at the till unfortunatley. hope this helps but they should be cheaper than this me thinks.

Interesting; I was in there a few days ago and either didn't see them, or they weren't out on display?
Were they in the isle that has the laptops on display?

Did you ask if they had any of the £99 or £129 models?

I deserve to go straight to hell for what I just did.
    Bought 2*£129 @ Tesco.
Sold 2*£141 @ CEX :money: (could have had £176 store credit!)
TJJ, go to hell? no! go to the top of the class more like...it appears that youve peed a few people off by doing that trade but I applaud you for your quick entrepreneurial decision.
If I were in your shoes at that time, I would like to think that I'd do the same. (but in reality I dilly dally too much over decisions like that and by the time i decide to go for it, all stock's usually gone)

    Well done :-)

On my late night shop tonight at Tesco, picked up this netbook for £129.00 (was £219.99) Runs Linux. Apparently it is going to be a nationwide offer starting Friday 24th April. This is an even better deal than the Asda one I posted a few months back!

    ENJOY!
I doubted about it ,if this netbook is 10" for china and costs at least 150£ , shipping need another 20,so if you bought it at 129, the Tesco CEO must drunk at that day.

No, it was in clearance section halfway along right hand wall (there was only one)...I didn't ask about the £129 model. Hope this helps.

I have been calling up stores in Edinburgh, and also ones in Colwyn Bay, Llandudno & Sussex as have family there none of them had any of the A150s or the A110s....

Then I saw the post about Perth having lots of them in stock. So I thought I'd give Perth a ring and see if I could buy over the phone and get them to post one out to me in Edinburgh, or to get them to transfer to an edinburgh store for me to collect. But they told me they had neither model in stock

I'm not sure if the staff just couldn't be bothered to look for me and lied or what but I have been hung up on by a couple of the stores which is really irritating - they seem extremely incompetent! I'm dying to get the A150 for my hubby's birthday which was yesterday Any suggestions? Does anybody know if there's as good a deal with a different store?

    Thanks

On Friday , I phoned several stores in Scotland who told me they had no stock. Thanks to a post on Hotukdeals , I managed to get one in Silverburn . Silverburn had told me on the phone they had none in stock.
Obviously all the info you get on the phone is not correct, but I reckon you've left it a bit late to stand any chance of getting one now. I saw a post on another site that the best place to buy them now was Acer directly. I've hunted for the post, but can't give you any more details. Sorry.
