If it fits your needs... Mine is for travel use. Personally, I have 32GB of music alone on mine. Add a collection of ripped DVDs.
Can install any OS of my choice(currently XP). So the 120GB HDD makes a huge difference to me.
Adding a suitable media player to Linpus Lite can be beyond the capabilities of a novice.
My mobile telephone has 16GB of storage.
So, yes the 8GB version works straight out of the box, but has a limited scope.0
