When I was looking around, I found this site useful for new forest accommodation, it had a few good deals on as well that you may find useful.

Try Hoseasons lodges, they have quiet ones, we stayed at Hunters moon in Warminster Wiltshire, quiet setting around a small lake, some woodland walks nearby, we saw deer on several occasions. Handy for Longleat
Sherwood Castle near Ollerton in Nottingham is a bit bigger, with a small pool and activities for kids, both excellent accommodation and reasonable.0
