I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player. I am looking to find some high quality headphones for them. The one's that came with are good, but looking for better. Does anyone have any recommendations of some good/excellent quality headphones?
Many thanks

Good point! I believe the very best quality headphones are custom made for your ears, but unless you have a shed load of disposable income you'll need to lower your sights a little.SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. I have a pair of Shure SE530 earphones, and they're excellent. They ain't cheap though - about £230 from Amazon. They have cheaper models though, such as the SE110 which is about £50.
Sennheiser make some nice reasonably priced earphones. They would be my pick of earphones costing less than £50.0 -

Nice! Just has a read of some of the reviews on Amazon for the SE530's. Spud Harris really talks them up. Bit out of my price range though.SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. For good sounding lightweight headphones I'd recommend Sennheiser PX100s. These sound excellent and as long as you don't play loud music on public transport, they have an open design so leak more sound than more usual closed design headphones, they are a good choice.0

Thanks for all the help. I didn't think to put a budget, but around the £150 region maybe a bit more if they are worth it. I have been looking at Shure ones & also Ultimate Ears (though never heard of them before). Will certainly look at all the one's recommended.
Many thanks again

These Koss PortaPro at £17.99 delivered are very good, got some for youngest son at Xmas and I have borrowed them a few times. I'm not a Hi-Fi geek or anything but they sound bloomin good to me. Good reviews to be found also.
Just ordered myself a pair, I'm so weak. Plus I noticed that they have a lifetime warranty. Keep the reciept and they will repair/replace for as long as you have them."Hey, if love is blind, how come lingerie is so popular?" Cochrane. P673 TNG.0 -
I have a pair of Ultimate ears super 5 pro and they are an excellent pair of headphones with good noise isolation. They have received good reviews and can be picked up for your budget.0

I have used both (Shure SE430 and Super-Fi Pro 5) and will say you won't be dissappointed in the sound quality and isolation you get. I found the Shure's to have a better fit as the tips fit my ears better. Ultimate Ears are now owned by Logitech if that eases concerns about the brand.
Both give you 2 yrs quibble free warranty in case of failure - the only drawback as there is a tendency for a channel to blow out if you're not looking after them which for the money you spend does leave a question mark over their durability in day-to-day use.
If you can stretch your budget, you can now get custom ear moulds for maximum fit and comfort from Etymotic...http://www.customearphones.co.uk"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"
