Just wondering is the Abbey Zero still available with no fees as I came across this site: http://www.santandergbm.com
which appears to have a link to the card
http://www.santandergbm.com/csgs/Satellite?c=GSDetalleProducto&cid=1210619166755&idParent=1210619162360&pagename=Abbey%2FGSDetalleProducto%2FGS_DetProducto
As I am looking for a card with no balance transfer fees. The site appears to look valid.
Thanks

What makes you think it's valid? It looks like a complete copy of the Abbey site, and makes no attempt to distinguish itself from Abbey. More likely to be a scam than genuine0 -
Its a genuine site belonging to the parent company.

Thats what I thought - not sure if moneysavingexpert can look into it as it would be good to have a fees free credit card as it doesn't appear to appear in the list of credit cards on the moneysavingexpert fees free list.0 -
Abbey are only offering the 15 months balance transfer card. The Zero card is not on sale anymore.0

Zero was stopped about 2-3 months ago and then for the final 2 months of applications it was via branch only.
There are no longer any cards offering BT's without fees, unless you can negotiate something for yourself.0 -

But if santander website is a website that belongs to Abbey and we were to apply through there shouldn't they still satisfy the conditions of the abbey zero card?0 -

Got mine in March - perhaps applied end of Feb? Can't remember. £8100 limit - jolly useful and could BT fee free almost up to the limit.
It had disappeared off their website and a nearby Abbey had taken down all the posters. But I found a link via a google. It took me into their main site so I reckoned I was safe. As I stepped through it, I think one page was a bit nervy (think I got a security warning). But anyway all was fine.
I suppose they had de-promoted it but at that time had failed to remove all the functionality from their site. Just tried again - but could not reproduce what I did.
That santandergbm Zero link ends up putting you back into the Abbey main site to process an application. So I would certainly have a go... but I would check that it is still the Zero card you're applying for. On the initial application page I saw, there was no mention of Zero - but maybe it comes back in later.0 -

I'll reiterate, you CANNOT get a ZERO card as it's no longer available.0
