    YES, but as part of the application process it soon redirects you back into the Abbey site before collecting any data. I suppose if you're really worried you could say that in the mean time it's had a jolly good go at installing a keylogger or something! But it looked OK to me.

    If you did manage to get an application "in through the back door" but Abbey have withdrawn the product as per exel1966, then they could always decline. But in my case, my "back door" online application was successful at a time according to exel1966 they were only taking branch apps.
