I got the personalised glasses that the OP linked in an earlier post for my bridesmaids, best man, usher and both sets of parents.

They are amazing, I can't believe the likeness in some of them!! Such a lovely keepsake of the day.

  • Where did you get the necklace from I want one! It sounds fab???

I got them from unusualdesign.com - I also bought ones on a small chain for the two little bridesmaids, I think they're fab, especially since none of them have names that they can find personalised stuff for normally.

That sounds really nice, what did u get engraved on them? I quite like the idea of little jewellry boxes and getting them engraved. I'm a bit far from birmingham though unfortunatly! I might have to look for somewhere near me that does engraving and then maybe buy some little jewellry boxes off ebay, but i also like the name necklaces and i know my 10 year old bridesmaid would love that, just not so sure on the other one though! x

As we bought the items from the store they do free engraving. If you buy items from Ebay and the likes will you will have to factor in the extra cost.

Hopefully if this has worked it will show the link. They also offer engraved boxes with the jewellery in it if it helps?

Thanks for the link, i've just had a quick look and found some lovely little heart shaped jewellry boxes for £12.99 if you buy 2 and it says they engrave them free up to 30 letters, so that would probably be enough for what i would have written on them i think? Theyre exactly the kind of thing i was looking for as well :D
    Thankyou xx

    Hi all,
Just wondered if anypne had any ideas what to buy as bridesmaids gifts without spending too much money?! I was thinking along the lines of jewellry but everything i've looked at seems a bit more than i'd want to pay ( i know thats sounds tight but i'm on a very small budget!) My bridesmaids are aged 10 and 19, just really stuggling to find something suitable! Any ideas?

I own a photography business and I offer whats called a "mini coffee table book" as suggestions for favours and BM presents. Basically its a smaller version of a photobook (pictures are printed on the glossy paper within the book) and these have become quite popular with my clients.

We take your photos on your wedding day and once theyre edited we put around 20 photos in this 7X5 flip book. You choose what photos are put in and you can even personalise them with a message or photo on the cover!

Its quite a unique idea and works out pretty cheap too! If your interested I dont mind giving you prices on making them!
Life is what you make it.

Do you have a shop called Diamonds and Pearls near you? I got my bridesmaids necklaces there as they regularly do a BOGOF throughout the store - I paid £19 for two gorgeous diamante necklaces rather than £38!

Failing that try BHS as they often reduce their necklace and earring sets to about £10.
  • Hi

I recently used a website personalisedsilver.co.uk and purchased a Sterling Silver Child's Necklace with our little girls initials engraved on the front.

Very good quality and quick delivery. Think it was around £25.
