Help Finding Bridesmaids Gifts!!

Hi all,
Just wondered if anypne had any ideas what to buy as bridesmaids gifts without spending too much money?! I was thinking along the lines of jewellry but everything i've looked at seems a bit more than i'd want to pay ( i know thats sounds tight but i'm on a very small budget!) My bridesmaids are aged 10 and 19, just really stuggling to find something suitable! Any ideas?

for jewellery have you tried ebay, or craft fairs, it doesn't have to be siver/ gold, what about something beaded?

for the 10 year old I would just go with a teddy - but i'm rubbish with kids:confused:

  • I did look on ebay for jewellery but couldnt find much tbh and as for the 10year old well she kind of acts older than she is, she's quite mature for her age. I think its the older bridesmaid which is more of a problem! thanks for the suggestions tho! x

  • How much are you wanting to spend? I found a place that did name necklaces, the same as Carrie wears on Sex in the City (apparently!?) for my daughter. They were shipped from Malaysia but they're really pretty.
  • ooh they sound good! How much were they? Not wanting to really spend anymore than £20 each as still got loads of stuff to pay for! What was the place called u saw them? x

Another idea along the jewellery idea is jewellery boxes, I got my four bridesmaids these with their names engraved on them, I think they were around £24 each. I can't remember which site it was I ordered them from but there are loads out there if you do a search.

I got mine some jewellery rolls from notonthehighstreet.com, they were about £7 each but they don't appear to be on the site anymore.

Laura Ashley has some pretty things that might be suitable in the sale at the moment.

I was looking at spacefrom, they do glass 'tokens' and have a wedding range.

My 3 sisters and my best friend are going to be my bridesmaids, so i'm going to get my sisters (and myself) either a charm bracelet with matching charms or something that we all have the same that will have a bit of meaning iyswim.
  • Hi

Have you tried looking for jewellery in the supermarkets? I looked for ages for gifts for older bridesmaids as I wanted something I could give them in the morning and wear on the day.

I found perfect necklaces (costing £15 each) behind the jewellery counter in Asda!

For the 2 younger ones I bought personalised photo frames with their names and "thanks for being our bridesmaid" and date of wedding so they can put a nice photo of them as a brdesmaid and put in their room to remember the day. They were 8 and 10 and loved it. They cost about £7 each I think from a shop on ebay.
