Have I dropped a clanger ?

Of late, I've been telling a few relatives about Cheapestcalls, only because they are reluctant to "switch" to either 18866 or 1899.

The reason being that between them they call USA, France,Aust, NZ & Spain. I've exlained how they 1)access Cheapest calls site, 2) go to top rt corner for country code and per min rate.

I've just realised that one of the relatives is with NTL, so will the info I've given be the same for them ?.

Calls made via cheapestcalls just go on the "ordinary" phone bill.

NTL charge the same call rate for the access number as BT, but do have a connection fee (5p) for each call. (With BT you don't have a connection fee - they make a minimum call charge instead)

Interesting. Do you happen to know the "minimum" charge which BT operate, or is it done on a regional/international basis.
