You may be having irregular heartbeat while asleep, could attribute to your morning feeling. have you had a 24 hour heart monitor? that would tell more about your irregular heartbeat. Did you hear the trem atrial fibrrillation being mentioned at all?

he seemed to be like a dog with a bone . Also why discharge me from the Clinic .when the BP/Heart Monitor and Echo results were still outstanding .
I don't think your suggestion of a private alternative is particularly helpful .
Do you get the health screening at any of their Filling Stations?

I think the NHS is wonderful. Moan all you like, but if something serious happens to you, you'll soon lean on it for help and support. Just be glad you are healthy enough to whinge about it.

I too think it sounds like you've had a thorough MOT, and as for 'why discharge me from the clinic', only the doctor in question can answer that.

Wishing you the best of health from here on in.

As a hypnotherapist who has treated many patients with sleep problems there are a few things you can try yourself that may help you assuming there is no medical cause for your tiredness.

    A few suggestions...

Keep to the same sleep and waking times if at all possible.
Do something that relaxes you for half an hour before sleep - a warm bath or reading a relaxing book - whatever helps.
Stay off the caffeine for at least three hours before bed.
Keep the bedroom for bedroom activities only!
Make sure you are eating a healthy diet and getting good exercise. You'll be amazed how much just getting a little fitter can help your energy levels.

But of course, that means you need to take responsibility for your own health. And I hope you are someone who is willing to do that.. A lot of people want a magic pill to take away the need for THEM to do something to keep them fit... look at the popularity of 'miracle' slimming aids when the best way to lose weight is good, healthy food and exercise.

I would imagine you are doing some of these things already... if not, try to incorporate some of them into your life. Results will take time and success will be proportionate to the effort you put in.

    Good luck! :o)
If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always got.

Got the 24 Hr monitors for BP and Heart last wed/thu and an echocardiogram on Thursday .Didn't learn much from Cardiologist other than her saying " everything seems fine " a couple of times but as she didn't have my notes she couldn't answer anything about the Warfarin recommendation ...however since then I have had a call this morning from Cardiology appt'ts to say that I have to go back to that Clinic for a consultation soon ( something else no-one mentoined before) so hopefully things will be clearer then .
