running out of bulldog introductory offer, what to do?

i am about to run out with my bulldog introductory offer, which after that they will charge me £40/mth for the inter@tive unlimited broadband and the phone line.
i have 2 ideas, and would like to ask members for opinion.
A
migrate the phone to BT or other suppliers, which likely to have a minimum of 3mth term. and signup the broadband with virgin.net (because of only 1mth contract, others all have 12mth, which is not good for me).
B
i could terminate the line, and signup bulldog again as a new customer! then i could have a new introductory offer and a cheaper standard charge of the same package which is currently only £30/mth.
both options would have about the same downtime of 14days.
i prefer B, and would like to try it, as it's cheaper and less hassle, i could even ask a friend to refer me, and both get £20 credit too. but do you think it practical? even using the same details?

Or you could go to your online Bulldog account and go to upgrades and and get your inter@tive unlimited broadband for £19.50/month for a one off fee of £15 which will bring it to £30/month including you phone line.0

Good luck at trying option B - let us all know if you are lucky enough to pull it off. I would expect them to have checks in place to stop someone cancelling & then signing up for a new customer deal immediately. But this is Bulldog, and I know someone who still hasn't been billed for over a year.
Bear in mind with your option A, that there will be an activation fee involved with getting ADSL installed - with Virgin.net, this is passed to you as a cancellation fee of £50 if ending your service within 12 months.
P.S. Not all other ISPs have 12 months contracts. There are plenty out there with monthly contracts.0 -
