Hi starfish10,
You are not alone, I have just tried myself and got the Internet Explorer screen - you are not connected etc. The Pipex site seems to have gone downhill, like the rest of their service over the past few months so thank goodness I have now left them to their downhill spiral. :j0 -
Same problem, Have phoned them numerous times and they give me new password etc but still doesnt work. Have given up now.0

I actually assumed it was a problem with my account as I received my MAC code from them last week and have now signed up with another ISP. The way my internet signal has been since then, I think someone is flicking a switch "on and off" at Pipex HQ everytime I try to access my e-mails and the rest of the web. However, only 6 days more to go. Whoopee!!!!:j0

Thanks for your replies, this is so annoying as I just want to see how long I have left with them. The problem will be who to move to.0

Personally I have chosen to return to BT, and I know many others will run me down for that. The reason being my local exchange (which is less than 3K from my home) only has BT wholesale and my signal is 512 KB (on a good day!) Therefore I thought back to the "line owner" and as soon as I have problems I can kick-!!!! (albeit via India!) The only other comparative ISP I could have signed with is Plusnet and they work out £1.00 a month cheaper than BT, but everything else they offer is the same. Good luck with your problems with Pipex.0
