Money for nothing
When I bought a mobile from E2Save in August, CPW signed me up to TalkTalk for my home phone without asking me. As I was on holiday during the transfer period, I knew nothing about it until I got home.
I was cross about this and called BT to re-connect me to the BT network. This takes about 2 weeks. During that period CPW came up with their offer of free evening / WE calls for a year on Talk Talk so I thought I would see if I could cancel the transfer back to BT. No can do.
So I thought, as I am still a member of Talk Talk and will want to re-connect after my re-transfer to BT was completed, why not refer myself ? I did this assuming nothing would come of it, but yesterday I was happy to receive 2 x £10 cheques. One asddressed to me as referrer and the other one as referee.
£20 for nothing !
