At my lowest ebb in life... ever!!

  • And the reason I mentioned counselling is because I feel you need to speak to someone, to have someone listen to you in that respect. Anti-depressents, whilst they control the ceratonin decrease(s) do not ever take away that side of things. There is a lot behind your words, because I look for what is not said more than spoken.

Please understand where I say this: we all need a listener at some point in life. Someone who will not judge you, but purely listen. Hence, counselling. Again, I wish you well and I am sorry I cannot fulfil that requirement for you. Even though every part of me is screaming at me right now to do that for you. I am just so sorry that you have been put through all this anguish.

There will be someone out there for you who can fulfil this you just need to find them, the right person who can do this for you. Counsellor.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

hi scorpio62. I know what you mean by the lowest ebb. I went br a day before you and have been on a rollercoaster of emotional turmoil every since - in fact I feel worse now than before br, but Im hoping that its just because my life is still changing and I know I need to be as positive as I can. I would encourage you to stay on this forum and post if you can - there are many people on here who know where youre coming from and there is hope for all of us. :)

Scorpio, as someone who went through first a relationship breakup and then redundancy (first time without a job in 20 years) and then struggling to find a job I wasn't overqualified for I can understand where you are coming from. It does get better but it takes time, at least you don't have to worry about debts. I also agree that a trip to the doctors might be worth it. I eventually realised I needed help and saw my Dr, it did make a difference - allowed me to get things back on an even keel.

Keep talking on here, there's nearly always someone here to listen.

    Hello to you all.
I really appreciate all your kind words of encouragement. I had a really nice surprise waiting for me at home after I went for a long walk to clear my head.

I have been awaiting the outcome of whether I would be able to keep my car and................ a letter arrived informing me that my OR has decided that my car is to be exempt!!! :j
When I had my OR interview and because I was then also on a low ebb, I only put up "half a fight" about keeping my car. I automatically assumed that I would lose it as I have read that people have had their car taken from them even though it was only worth £500. My car was worth £1,800.
This has raised my spirits a lot just now. If I keep thinking about this little boost, it might just give me some extra "fight" to survive.

Thank you all again and I hope you all have these one or two unexpected boosts. I'm now gonna stuff my face with some chocolate and don't care if I feel sick. This is my little reward for this week
