Is it possible to unlock sony ericsson w850i?

Hi,

I have a W850i (vodafone), recently switched to Asda mobile and have realised my phone is locked! Is it possible to unlock it myself or am I going to have to pay and if so what is the cheapest way? Thanks

    If it was on a contract that has now finished then they will do it for free in a Voda store, did my G600 the other day. Not sure if u have to pay a few quid if its PAYG though

    it should work anyway as asda use vodafone's network for coverage
