Hi,
Has anyone completed the online test for this.
q1When did you receive your username and password and link to the test?
q2Also how did you find it?
q3Did you finish well within the time, if so how many minutes before?
q4Which quesiton number did you find difficult or could not do?
Do post here if you pass or not.
Thanks

I wasn't sent my password and username. I received a reminder to complete the test without having an invitation in the first place!! So I followed the link to 'forgotten password?' and got it that way.
I finished it with 10 minutes to spare. I should have gone over it but was having connection problems with the computer so sent it off while the going was good.
I think I fell down on the maths. I panicked and wasted time because I haven't practised percentages in a long time. But then, you don't know if what you've said is 'right' about any of the categories. In the given time, you can only say what you would do yourself. That's probably the point of it.:idea:0 -
I received my username & password within the dates the job ad said I would receive them. I completed the test a couple of weeks ago but have heard nothing back yet.
I thought it was ok but I don't really like questions where you have to give a response without the chance to explain why or the opportunity to clarify things. So, I didn't like the 'what would you do?' type questions.
I think I had between 5&10 minutes to spare.0 -
Are the tests you've done called Siftability?0

Most of the posts being advertised by DWP have some kind of online sift test as the initial assessment. For AO and EO they're similar and not timed. The HEO test is quite bit more complicated, and timed.:idea:0 -
Yes lilli I know, I work there and am more senior than HEO. DWP do use an online test called Siftability, which is administered by Capita. I just wanted to know if it was those tests that the other posters had done so I could offer advice. I think they are normally used for SEO and Grade 7 but could be wrong, it could be for HEO too.0

Oh..sorry. I thought you were trying to apply:o Quite a few new and confused people on here about DWP recruitment. I am one of them. I thought you being a new poster were too.
I can't remember what it was called, but it was run by Capita.:idea:0 -
No, am an old poster but forgot my password and the email address I used to register has long since gone so I've had to start again. Not fair! I can see that DWP/JCP recruitment is creating quite a lot of threads/posts though!!
Did your test have a scenario where you were running an outdoor concert event and had to solve a number of problems and another where you had a project to run and had to present a paper to the board and the deadline kept changing? If so, that's Siftability. DWP uses it for promotion exercises that are open to external applicants too. It's horrible!0 -

Yes, that's the one. It was horrible!:idea:0 -
Has anyone heard about this yet? It's taking longer to get results than the AO/EO competence choice sift tests.:idea:0
