I wouldn't say I had an excellent credit record, but it's not dismal. I have a couple of defaults from 3/4 years ago (1 of which I'm disputing because I don't even know what it's for!).

I've since then got a mortgage, a Next account and 2 credit cards. But both Orange and T-Mobile have declined my online applications for a phone!

I guess I have basically 3 options;

• Go pre-pay
• Try another network. O2?
• Try in a shop (Phones-4-U?)

my daughter got really bad rating she cant get cc but she managed 2 get her and her sister contract with o2

Try o2/3g - very low credit requirements compared to the other networks

you will definately get a contract with e2save and they will beat any offer you can find -owned by the carphonewarehouse.

Try O2 - we never have probs with them, but Orange are a nightmare!

My first attempt was with e2save on T-Mobile!

I suggest you try the THREE network through e2save.. it's worked for me and my credit history is poo!

I'm now getting concerned about the number of searches that may be on my file so I don't want to jeopordise any future credit application just for the sake of a phone.
