I didn't think the controllers came under warranty?

Ours "broke" recently after 10 months (yes, OH lost his temper playing FIFA and threw it!), so we just bought a new one!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

If your PS3 works ok then hang onto it! A lot of PS3's have been breaking down (including ours) as they seem to have some known faults! Controllers aren't really that expensive to replace so your best solution would be to just get a new one.

I've had no issues with mine - there will always be a small failure rate, but it's still nothing like the 360. I've had four 360's die on me!

all controller come with a 12 month warranty as long as you have the receipt, i brought a dual shock 3 from game which developed a fault 3 months later, i just went back to game and they replaced it for me.

you could call sony, they are usually really helpful they may be kind enough to replace it for you, or take it from you to repair.

it depends how old you controller is really, but i doubt anyone is going to replace the whole bundle just because the controller needs replacing.

i would also recommend going to continuousplay (not sure .com or .co.uk just google it) they cover out of warranty consoles and i think they will also cover you controllers, they are a part of sony. i have used them to get my console replaced when it died after 2 years.
just £5 a month and you can cancel at any time, no 12 month contract.
