Broadband without 12/18-month contract?

I'm living in a flat for another 5 months and could do with broadband for this period. I have a 3G USB modem dongle with Orange but it's virtually useless because i'm not in a 3G area, so it's slower than dial-up.
I could do with broadband just for this period but i would need to pay at least £120 for the BT line connection.
I already have internet with Plusnet which runs a server located elsewhere which I would be prepared to transfer over to my next flat (this costs £60 per transfer so i don't want to transfer this until my next (more permanent) residence) but was looking for something cheap to fill in the gap?
Are there any broadband deals out there which aren't on a year+ contract?

AOL does broadband with no minimum contract.
But if you get bt to install a line, not only will you have the connection fee to pay, you will also be tied in to a minimum 12 month line rental contract as well.
Maybe better to put up with the slow dongle for the 5 months.0
